Mussoorie is also known as "THE QUEEN OF HILLS". It is situated in Uttarakhand; India It is a municipal board in Dehradun district. It is situated in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalays. It is at an average altitude like in northeast it is Himalayan snow ranges and in south it is Doon valley and Shivalik Range. Due to the weather conditions, beautiful and natural view of Mussoorie it attracts the youth. And you can also do adventures here like ziplining, trekking etc. The best to visit Mussoorie is in the month of march because at this time you can also see snowfall here and at this month it attains its best temperature (2 degree Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius). There are many attractions in Mussoorie some of them are Gunhill Road, Kempty Falls, Lal Tibba Scenic Point, George Everest House and many more. The official language of Mussoorie is Hindi and other language is Garhwali. Lt. Fedrick Young became a magistrate of Doon in 1923 and he built a shooting box on Camel's Back Road, and he also raised the first Gorkha Regiment and plant potatoes in the valley. In 1900 Railway came in Mussoorie. There are many schools and colleges in mussoorie but St. George's College is one the oldest and most reupdated College in India. It is founded in 1953 by the Patrician Brothers. it spread over 400 acres. it is popular referred as "Manor House".
