HARIDWAR

Haridwar
Haridwar is a religious place and as we all know Haridwar means "THE DWAR OF HARI". Here are many famous temples to visit like Chandi Devi mandir, Bilvkehwar Mahadev Temple, Maya Devi Temple, Mansa Devi Mandir, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir and many more. Here are many Ghats also HAR KI PAUDI is one of them it has its own religious fact at every evening a huge Aarti is organized here. Many foreigners and peoples from other state of India are also come to see this, Aarti. Many religious events are also organized here KUMB KA MELA is one of them. It is organized once in after every 12 years. This one of the biggest mela in whole world many peoples, hermits and Aghori  to join this mela. It is a best place to see the religious things and to know too much about Hindu culture.


KEDARNATH

KedarKedarnathnath is a 1200-year-old Hindu mandir which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of from char dhams. It is located in Himalayas. This town is mostly flanked by snow-caped mountains especially Kedarnath Mountain. The kapat of Kedarnath Mandir were closed during the winter season due to heavy snowfall for 6 months from November to April. It is pilgrimage center since ancient time. It is the place where Lord shiva release the holy water from his matted hair and this holy water now known as The Ganga. on the eastern side of the town there is Bhairavnath Temple which protects the town during winters. some other place of interest in Kedarnath is Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi. a Manaknandi River is also flow from the bank of the town.


MUSSOORIE

Mussoorie
Mussoorie is a hill station, and it is also known as "THE QUENN OF HILLS". Here you can see the beauty of nature. It is something 35 kilometers from the capital of Uttarakhand. It is located in the foothills of Garhwal Himalayan range. It is famous for its science beauty, and it also command a glittering view of Doon valley. It is one of the finest places to enjoy the fresh snowfall. in most of the hill station snowfall starts in November but in Mussoorie snowfall starts in mid-December. If you come Mussoorie with your family or colleges to spend your holiday you must visit these places which are Lal Tibba, Company Garden, Kempty falls, Cloud End etc.....


DEHRADUN

Dehradun
Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand, and it is also one of the famous cities of Uttarakhand. It is situated in the Doon valley of the foothills of Himalayas. Uttarakhand is the third largest city of Uttarakhand after Kathmandu. Dehradun is considered as the smartest city in foothills of Himalayas. Dehradun is the home of Indian Military Academy, National Forest Academy Rashtriya Indian Military College of India, Uttarakhand Ayurveda University, Indian institute of Remote Sensing and also the headquarters of Surveyor General of India. According to the survey of Dainik Jagran on the basis of education, economy, health, infrastructure and education Dehradun is one of the best and safest cities of India. Dehradun is famous for its bakery products and basmati rice. Behind the name of Dehradun there is a historical fact which is that the name of this city is derive from the eldest son of seventh Sikh guru whose name is Baba Ram Rai who put his "dera" (camp) in "dun" (valley) and know it is known as Dehradun. 


RISHIKESH

Rishikesh
Rishikesh also known as Hrishkesha. which means "THE KESH OF RISHI". It is also known as the "Gateway of Garhwal Himalayas". It is the northern city of Uttarakhand which is located in Himalayan foothills besides the Ganga River. It is considered that Rishikesh is the World capital of YOGA AND MEDITATION. Rishikesh is the seventh most populated city in Uttarakhand. It is also considered as holy pilgrimage from ancient stages and many saints meditating here for their higher knowledge. Here are many places to visit like- Muni ki Reti, Zip Line, Parmarth Niketan, all India Institute of Medical Science, Triveni Ghat and many more. Minister of Tourism announced that Haridwar and Rishikesh would be the "twin heritage cities of India" and as we know Rishikesh is a religious city, so non-Vegetarian and alcohol are completely prohibited in this city. Rishikesh host a Yoga Festival on the first week of March since 1999. It is also famous for summer and winter Trekking Destinations like- Dayara bugyal, Kedarkantha, Har ki Dun. 


 BADARINATH

Badrinath
Badarinath is a Nagar panchayat in Chamoli District. It is one of the Dhams from CHAR DHAMS and it is also a part of Chota Char Dham. Badrinath gets its name from The Temple Badrinath and the temple of Badrinath is also scared pilgrimage for the devotes of Lord Vishnu. It is also a gateway for many mountaineering expeditions who are headed to the mountains like Neelkanth. Badrinath is lie between the Nar and Narayan Mountains. This temple has a religious fact behind him that this place is full of Badri bushes and Lord Vishnu also meditated here and his beloved Lord Lakshmi stood next to him to sheltering him from the sunlight and thus Lord Lakshmi turned into Badri himself and also called "BADARI VISHAL" and her Lord Nath Vishnu becomes Badrinath. This place is also considered holy in Jainism. In Jainism, Himalya is called ashtapad because of its eight different mountain range.
