RISHIKESH

 Rishikesh also known as Hrishkesha. which means "THE KESH OF RISHI". It is also known as the " Gateway of Garhwal Himalayas". It is the northern city of Uttarakhand which is located in Himalayan foothills besides the Ganga River. It is considered that Rishikesh is the World capital of YOGA and MEDITATION. Rishikesh is the seventh most populated city in Uttarakhand. It is also considered as holy pilgrimage from ancient stages and many saints meditating here for their higher knowledge. Here are many places to visit like- Muni ki Reti, Zip Line, Parmarth Niketan, all India Institute of Medical Science, Triveni Ghat and many more. Minister of Tourism announced that Haridwar and Rishikesh would be the "twin heritage cities of India" and as we know Rishikesh is a religious city, so non-Vegetarian and alcohol are completely prohibited in this city.
